Exploring Alberta Canada

Venturing outside of the country can be a nerve-racking, confusing and exhilarating experience. It is so special to be able to immerse yourself in another culture, yet so confusing when trying to figure out how to do so.

Alberta Canada is an amazing part of western Canada right in-between British Columbia and Saskatchewan. It is full of breathtaking mountains and never-ending forests. Arguably the biggest tourist attraction in Alberta are the National Parks, particularly Banff and Jasper. Both are gorgeous and offer a range of activities to suite anyone’s skill level.

In Banff, one of the most popular tourist attractions is Moraine Lake and the beautiful mountains surrounding it. You are able to hike to and around most all lakes in the park and Moraine Lake is no exception! The views are gorgeous and the water is the most incredible blue color. You are also able to head over to the equally gorgeous Lake Louise and take a gondola ride to the top of the mountain. Once there you will find a restaurant with gorgeous views and seriously delicious food.

In Jasper the true draw is the Columbia Ice Fields and the newly designed Skywalk. You can take a tour of the glacier, which is a truly incredible experience, and then take a bus to the Skywalk, which is an all glass walk way leading out over a valley. This truly has some of the most amazing views.

However, some of the most genuinely underrated places in both Banff and Jasper are the canyons. Johnston Canyon in Banff and Maligne Canyon in Jasper both had the most amazing waterfalls and trails.

Going somewhere new is always such an exciting and invigorating experience. With so many different things to do, you could never get bored in Alberta.
