Best Fashion Trends in 2016

Bralette/// 2016 fashion was the epitome of comfort while looking fabulous. The trends began evolving when the loose-fitting joggers came into style. Not long after, the bralette was introduced.  Despite popular belief,  the bralette does not have to just be lace, some have crisscross designs in the back to give it a unique twist. Everyone can agree that the best part of the bralette is that it has no underwire. Normal bras give more support but the downside is the uncomfortable underwire that every girl dreads. Now-a-days many girls can agree that their drawer has compiled more bralettes than bras this year.

Ripped Jeans/// Ripped jeans have been a prominent fad throughout the past years, but this year they came back and were here to stay. American Eagle seemed to be the must have brand of jeans.

T-shirt Dress/// This is another example of simple, comfortable, and stylish fashion. The t-shirt dress was a dress for every body type. It was not made to accentuate any part of a woman’s figure, but it was made for coziness and to drape eloquently. The trend of oversized clothes in general, like this dress, was also a major trend this year. Tight and form fighting was not the first choice for a fashionista this year.

Sneakers/// At the beginning of the year, and throughout 2015, white Converse were what everyone talked about. For Friday night football games all throughout the year, most girls were equipped with their essential white sneakers. The Converse trend slowly deteriorated and this is when the Adidas superstars took the stage. This trend is still increasing in popularity, but I put my money on it that most girls will have just snagged a pair for Christmas.

2016 was full of ease and style. The year of fashion was majestic, inspired by fashion icons, Gigi Hadid and sister Bella Hadid, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and even the two year old, North West. Every new year, fashion takes a turn, we will see what 2017 fashion has in store for us!
