Sweat it Out: Ways to Stay Fit Over the Summer
Summer is in full swing and while it's easy to spend our coming days binging on Netflix, it is equally as important to stay active. Hitting the gym on a daily basis isn't realistic when summer schedules are consumed with family vacays and beach days, but there are plenty of other ways to squeeze in a little exercise without the need for an elliptical. Try out these various different workouts to mix up your routine this summer.
Run Outside// soak up the summer sun with a quick run around the neighborhood or local park. Getting your daily dose vitamin D, while also getting a sufficient workout, will have you feeling your best.
Swim// hit the beach or pool with your besties and while you're having a good time, you're also burning calories. Swimming is great cardio, but also the perfect way to cool down from the summer heat.
Take Walks// in the evening, after dinner, it's always a good idea to take a brisk walk. It's the perfect activity for digestion and the weather is ideal for getting in some exercise.
Try out fitness classes// check out what classes local gyms or fitness organizations offer. Trying out zumba or barre will give you the ultimate workout that is both fun and convenient.
