Bermuda is an amazing tropical destination, and is so easily accessible from the east coast (only an hour and a half away from NYC)!  There are lots of things to do in Bermuda, but here are some highlights that you should check out if you go:

Hamilton// Hamilton is the main city on the island and it’s filled with colorful buildings, unique shops, and great restaurants.  One restaurant in particular that has delicious food and friendly service is Portofino, an Italian restaurant on Bermudiana road.  There are lots of other shops and restaurants too, so definitely stop into Hamilton while on the island.

Snorkeling// for those who prefer being in the sun and sea while on vacation, snorkeling is a must-do while in Bermuda.  There are some amazing snorkeling sights such as Nonsuch Island-- you can find an excursion to at one of the many dive and watersport shops on the island (for example, Tucker’s Point)-- which has a shipwreck with tons of tropical sea life to watch.  Nearby is Castle Island, the Island on which is the oldest fort in the Western Hemisphere (and supposedly where Shakespeare got inspiration for The Tempest).

Beaches// beaches are another fabulous option while in Bermuda, because, not only is the water turquoise and crystal clear, but the beaches have the famous Bermuda pink sand!  Some specific beaches to visit include Horseshoe Bay, Warwick Long Bay, and Elbow Beach.

No matter what you choose to do, the culture, nightlife, and pure beauty on the island are all so vibrant that it’s impossible to have a bad trip!
