The Skin Care Products I Can’t Live Without

In one of my previous articles, I wrote about how I cannot live without my Foreo face cleanser. While that is still the case, I think it’s best to also fill you in on the skincare products that compliment my Foreo and my skincare regime! So, in no particular order, here are a few of my holy grail products that once you try, you may also be unable to live without!

Face wash/Cleanser // When it comes to cleaners, I’ve tried more than I can count on both hands from expensive high-end products, to drugstore brands. However, there are two that I go back and forth between that work wonders on my face! The first is, Cerave cleanser. What I love about this cleanser is that it is recommended by dermatologists, it’s very light, and it’s unscented. I know that we love great smelling products, but from my experience, they always cause me to break out with all the fragrances added. This cleanser is clear and doesn’t have all the added ingredients that can harm and strip your face. The other cleanser I love, is Cetaphil. Like Cerave, it is dermatologist recommended, unscented, and not heavy for your face. Due to both of these cleansers being so similar, I have no issues using one or the other and not only does my face feel clean after being washed, but also refreshed!

Toner // In terms of the toner I use, I have been using this product since high school, so we are definitely two peas in a pod. The toner I love, is Clinique Clarifying Toner! This toner comes in different numbers or levels depending on if you have dry or oily skin, so it’s best to head to your nearest store and try the toner best for you. What I love about this toner, is that it’s the perfect follow-up to cleansing your skin, and because it does have a little alcohol in it, it helps keep my breakouts at bay. I do know that alcohol is quite drying to skin, so this toner may not work for everyone!

Moisturizer // This product category is one that I am always on the hunt for. I have a combination of normal and dry skin, so I try to stick to hydrating moisturizers. One that I am a big fan of, is Ponds Cold Cream Cleansers. What I love about this moisturizer, is that it has a nice light fragrance, and keeps my skin moisturized for 24 hours. I will warn that this cleanser is quite heavy, so it isn’t suited to all skin types, but if you have dry skin or live in a cold/dry climate, this is a great one to try!

So, there you have it! The products that are always in my bathroom or on my face! If you try any of them out, I would love to hear about it! In fact, a lot you can find at your nearest drugstore!
