3 Beauty Tips To Boost your Self-Esteem

We all love those moments when we get compliments, when we are celebrated by loved ones, when we are praised for our hair, makeup, skin, clothes or when we are noticed for beautiful nails and our super cool hand bag. And we’ve all had those moments when we have looked in the mirror and LOVED what we saw! These moments typically happen when we take good care of ourselves. But I’m sure we can also remember a time when we got so carried away with activities, work, business, school or just life in general that we didn't bother to make an effort in regards to our appearance or image anymore and this made us feel crappy! Confidence doesn’t always come as a result of you achieving a big win in your education, career, business or in your relationship, it can come as a result of you simply loving yourself more. One of the ways to love yourself more is to practice the art of self-care and self-love.

Below I have listed ‘3 Beauty Tips to Boost your Self-Esteem’ and the good news is you can start doing these things this week:

1) Get Regular Facials:

One of the ways to take your self-esteem to the next level is to start looking after your skin in a better way than ever before. Great skin can dramatically increase the way you show up in the world and so be sure to care for it. You can do this by going for facials (regularly) at your local spa or beauty salon. Or you can also do this from the comfort of your home by buying face masks, skin products, facial washes and facial scrubs and using them as part of your skin care routine. If you like using natural or raw products why not try making your own face mask and using ingredients such as Avocado and Honey. Facials are super refreshing, therapeutic, relaxing and typically - a very fun practice. So totally do it!

2) Manicures and Pedicures:

Getting your nails and toes done is something that I LOVE doing regularly. There are so many ways that you can look after and beautify your nails. This includes getting manicures and pedicures, getting your nails painted, and looking after your nails by applying natural ingredients to your nails, such as olive oil and coconut oil. Great nails attract compliments, it can make you feel powerful, it can make you feel cute and above all it can truly increase your self-esteem. When you look after your nails you show off your hands more confidently which will make you shine when you have to communicate with your hands i.e, when giving presentations or when doing group work with colleagues.

3) Try out New Hairstyles and Creative Hair-dos:

One of the best ways to feel more beautiful to boost your self-esteem is to be more creative in regards to your hair. gorgeous hairstyle can make you feel so good. And people do notice great hairstyles. So if you really want to make an impression definitely challenge yourself to get outside of the box in regards to your hair. Come up with 3-5 hairstyles that you can do over the next month. Ideas include curling your hair, straightening your hair, having your hair pinned up, putting your hair in a bun, colouring your hair, putting your hair in braids, putting in some extension to name a few! You don’t have to do anything drastic, subtle changes like doing two french plaits or by adding in a few highlights can make you stand out and make you come across as creative and interesting.
